The Co-operative Group is sponsoring our Second Million Book & 10 pence Appeal for the Children of South Africa.

Please remember the 10p donation with each book is intended to help pay the costs of our campaign, including shipping the books 6,000 miles to South Africa. Your donations should be sent by cheque to Community H.E.A.R.T., PO Box 19089, London N7 7WZ.

View or download our collection guidelines for the children's books (not textbooks) we need. Books must be in good condition, please.

The Co-operative Group sponsorship is of special significance for Community H.E.A.R.T.'s Book & 10p Appeal because it is based upon the idea of co-operation between children and young people, and adults of course, in Britain and South Africa.

That co-operation has already provided a million books for the children of South Africa. We hope that the second million books will take less than the three-and-a-half years the first million took.
