Family Nutrition Project

Home produced batikThe Umthathi Training Project in Grahamstown helps women and families to make vegetable gardens to improve their food intake.

There is an indigenous batik project as part of an arts and crafts development. Traditional meals are provided to groups of tourists. Egg production is also being encouraged - hungry children cannot learn and the valuable protein provided by eggs does more than just feed the body. Excess production can be sold or traded for additional revenue.

We need your financial help.
