Helping the People of South Africa

Illiteracy is widespread. More than half South Africa's population cannot read or write. Medunsa Literacy for Development (Medlide) adult literacy project is closely related to issues of health. Community H.E.A.R.T. is shipping a mobile library complete with 10,000 publications for use in a region surrounding Medunsa (Medical University of Southern Africa) Northwest of Pretoria.
